Create flat surfaces for larger pieces or make your own mosaic stones. Polish gemstone or meteorite slabs and grind the backs of cabochons perfectly flat.

This flat lap and polishing machine is also very suitable for polishing a wide variety of materials such as natural and synthetic gemstones, enamel, metals, and precious metals.

Hi-Tech Diamond All-U-Need flat lap machines are available in a 6" and 8" version, and both models come with an accessory kit specifically designed for grinding, smoothing, and polishing gemstones, rocks, and minerals. The Hi-Tech Diamond All-U-Need lap machine is manufactured with a 1/2" shaft and is powered by a 1/4 hp, heavy-duty DC motor with ball bearings. This motor has variable speed so you can work at whatever pace you desire, with speeds ranging from 800 rpm to 3,400 rpm.

The impact-resistant ABS plastic housing and compact size of 26 x 26 x 31 cm (LxWxH) result in a weight of only 4 to 5 kilos. You can use this grinding and polishing machine anywhere.
