The Hi-Tech Diamond 8" Slant Cabber Angle Surface Grinder is a unique, angular, flat surface grinder.
Sharpen, smooth, and polish your stones and minerals to create freeform shapes and cabochons for necklaces, earrings, rings, and other jewelry.
Create flat surfaces with larger pieces, grind opal or crystal, or grind the backs of cabochons.
You can grind flat discs, carve quartz crystals, create freehand cabochons, and shape and polish crystal glass and other glass.
It is also great for polishing various natural and synthetic gemstones and metals.
The unique angular design provides better visibility and allows you to work while sitting instead of standing. The Hi-Tech Diamond 8" Slant Cabber is available in 6-inch (~150 mm) and 8-inch (~200 mm) models and comes with an accessory kit specifically designed for grinding, smoothing, and polishing stones and minerals. If you want to polish glass and/or crystal, we recommend purchasing the glass/crystal Slant Cabber model. The Hi-Tech Diamond Slant Cabber disc grinder features a 1/2-inch shaft and is powered by a 1/4 HP ball-bearing DC motor. This motor has variable speed, allowing you to work at your own pace, with speeds ranging from 800 to 3400 rpm. This portable machine can be used anywhere, whether you're at home, at work, or on the go. This quiet grinding and polishing machine won't disturb the people around you. It's lightweight, rust-resistant, and shock-resistant, making travel even easier.
The Hi-Tech innovative, durable water hose features a water control valve, allowing you to regulate the water flow while working.
The black splash guard keeps water out, preventing you from getting soaked while working.
